Group Riem is a Belgian company and also a family legacy
Our story has begun in 1963 when Emile Nicoletti, then a sales representative, decided to set up his own company.
He chose the name Riem because it was made up of the first two letters of his wife's first name (Rita) and his own (Emile). He also chose the bird for the logo because it symbolised cleanliness and cheerfulness (in the home).
Today, Group Riem has a team of around 23 people. Our building in Ligny is still our office and production site. Our production lines enable us to reach a total annual capacity of 4 to 5 million units.
Aerosol, an economical and ecological system
An aerosol dispenser allows you to use the product optimally, as it allows you to dose it correctly. Moreover, in terms of ecology, most metal packagings are now recycled.
Abandoning CFC gases : At Group Riem, we stopped using chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in 1981, switching instead to butane and propane. Concerned about the environment, Group Riem was a forerunner in this area, since the international agreement to phase out the production and use of CFCs (and other chemicals considered harmful to the ozone layer) came into force in Europe on 31 December 1989, 8 years later.
In the heart of Belgium
We are located in the heart of Belgium next to the main highways. Our building of more than 3,000 m² is easily accessible.
Quality is a priority
In 1995, we have obtained ISO 9001 certification which crowns our efforts to continuously improve customer satisfaction and to provide compliant products.
We have also obtained GMP certification for cosmetics.
This allows us to offer a standard 3 year product guarantee and to obtain a high satisfaction rate from our private label clients.
